Lisa has taught piano and voice for over 25 years. She is the only Nationally Certified Music Teacher in St. Clair County, Alabama and one of only 50 certified in the entire state. Lisa holds a BS from The University of Alabama at Birmingham and an AA from Gadsden State Community College. Lisa is a working artist so she can help your child go as far as they want to go in the performance world. Lisa currently has students as close as Jacksonville State University and as far away as Berklee College of Music. Lisa teaches ages 4-26 in Ashville, Alabama on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Lessons are once per seek for 30 minutes. Tuition is $130 per month plus the cost of books, which are usually $30 per semester, depending on how quickly your student moves. Lessons include theory, technique, ear training, sight reading, rhythm, composition, improvisation, and performance. Lessons are full of fun and activity as Lisa uses many games and movement activities in her lessons. Lisa offers a very complete educational package. As part of this package, students are encouraged to play in two recitals per year; one in summer and one at Christmas.
